Florida, and this area, in particular, is a place where people go to die, to live out the rest of their lives while they sip on fading memories like a wine that has become sour. St. Petersburg, which glimmers between the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa Bay, is known for its warm weather and for holding the title of “most consecutive days with sunshine”. It is a quaint, warm, and quiet place.
